Software support for schools

Wirral Council's Software Support Team is fully accredited to provide training and support for SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom, ScholarPack as well as providing support and training for Microsoft Office. We work in partnership with other local authority teams and external providers.

The support we provide enables schools to meet their statutory obligations by recording and retrieving data effectively. This includes SIMS, Arbor, ScholarPack and Bromcom and third party applications. The team also provides training and support for MS Office.

We can offer schools:

  • training delivered at local venues by qualified and experienced staff
  • virtual training sessions
  • training programmes tailored to meet individual needs
  • unlimited service desk support - telephone, email and remote access
  • SIMS upgrades and patches installed as required
  • tailored support hours - 10 hours included in full Service Level Agreement (SLA)
  • user group and update meetings
  • product demonstrations
  • consultancy
  • additional guidance notes for key milestones, including end of key stage, new academic year and exam survival kit
