Under Regulation 15 (2 and 3) of the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015, the unaudited statement of accounts for the year ended 31 March 2024 should be published on the council’s website at www.wirral.gov.uk/about-council/budget-and-spending/annual-accounts by 31 May 2024, and be available for inspection.
However, due to capacity and resource issues within the Finance Division the council gives notice that the draft Statement of Accounts for year ended 31 March 2024 has not yet been completed and is therefore unavailable for inspection.
As soon as the Statement of Accounts have been completed, the full public notice will be published, and inspection period can begin.
