Maximum size of memorials
A2.1 The height of all memorials will be determined from ground level or where a raft foundation is installed from this and includes all additional bases used in the design of the memorial.

Grave Numbering
A2.2 All memorials to be erected in Wirral Cemeteries must include the grave number and section, clearly but conspicuously engraved upon it as detailed within the Cemeteries Rules and Regulations.
Hours of Operation
A2.3 All work in connection with the fixing or restoration of memorials must be carried out during the normal working hours of the cemetery staff. No memorials shall be fixed on a Saturday, Sunday, or Public Holiday when the cemeteries are closed for interments.
A2.4 It is the responsibility of the memorial mason to leave the grave area in a clean and tidy condition after installation of a memorial. Any damage that may be caused to any surrounding ground or memorial as a direct result of the installation works remains the responsibility of the memorial mason to make good.
