National Organisations offering face to face and E-Learning training
If you are a member of a professional organisation such as PACEY, the Early Years Alliance (previously the Pre-school Learning Alliance PLA), National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) or Childcare.co.uk you will be able to access a variety of online courses for free or for a nominal fee.
Usually, even If you are not a member of the organisation, you may still be able to access courses but at a higher cost.
Some examples of organisations offering training are:
Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (PACEY): offers free courses for PACEY members. These are also available, at a cost, to non-members.
Early Years Alliance (previously Pre-school Learning Alliance) offer a variety of courses for all Practitioners. These are a reduced price for members.
National Day Nurseries association (NDNA) offers a wide range of training for all childcare practitioners.

The NSPCC runs face to face child safeguarding courses at its centres around the country, and has some online training available.
SAFE CIC offers two online child protection courses: an introductory course suitable for all staff, and a course for designated child protection officers.
