Local elections

Wirral Council has 66 councillors in 22 electoral wards. Each ward is represented by three councillors. Elections are held for all 66 seats at the same time. Councillors serve for a term of four years.

The next local elections for all wards are due to take place on Thursday 6 May 2027.
