From Summer 2026, households will have a weekly food waste collection. This will be picked up on the same day as your green and grey bins.
From June, you will get:
- a new outdoor food waste caddy with a sticker showing when your collections will start
- a small kitchen caddy
- caddy liners
- information on how to use them
Starting dates for collections
Collections will be rolled out in three phases:
- phase 1, starting on Monday 6 July 2026
- phase 2, starting on Monday 27 July
- phase 3, starting on Monday 17 August
More information will be available on this website before the service begins. This will include delivery dates for caddies and start dates for collections.
