'Solar Together' is a group-buying scheme for solar PV (photovoltaic) systems, battery storage and electric vehicle charge points.
Households and small and medium-sized enterprises can register their interest in having a solar PV system installed on their roofs or having battery storage retrofitted. Solar Together aims to secure high-quality products at competitive prices on your behalf and install them.
The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority brought the Solar Together scheme to the area and is supported by Wirral Council.
Planning permission may be required for solar PV panels if your dwelling or building is a listed building, in a conservation area or if you have a flat roof. If you think you need planning permission, please arrange this as quickly as possible, as it may take several weeks for the permission to be approved.
Find out more about how to obtain planning permission.
Registration for the scheme is now open. For more information, view the Solar Together website.
