Businesses that actively manage road safety at work can have lower collision rates – saving on repairs, higher insurance premiums and other associated personal and financial costs.
Mind Your Business project
Wirral Council provides free road safety support for your business, through the Mind Your Business project, including:
- theory workshops – covering topics such as speeding, fitness to drive, distractions, journey planning, legislation, vehicle checks and maintenance, etc.
- safe driver training – learn advanced defensive driving and eco-driving techniques from a qualified instructor
- assistance with policies and procedures – advice on reporting and recording incidents, breakdown procedures and maintenance schedules
