Search burial records
It can sometimes be hard to know where to start if you’re trying to find a grave. We’ll try and help as much as possible, though there is a fee for some services.
Records we hold
We hold burial records for the cemeteries and crematoria we manage. Our records date back to when each opened:
- Landican Cemetery – 1934
- Frankby Cemetery – 1940
- Heswall Cemetery (Irby Road) – 1960
- Bebington Cemetery (Town Lane) – 1868
- Grange Cemetery (Blackhorse Hill)– 1923
- Plymyard Cemetery (Bridle Road) – 1940
- Wallasey Cemetery (Rake Lane) – 1883
- Flaybrick Memorial Gardens – 1864
We do not hold any burial records before these dates. Neither do we hold records for other local burial grounds not owned or managed by the council.
