Burial fees for non-residents
Interment (Burial)
This can only be arranged where the Exclusive Right of Burial has been purchased.
The interment fee includes:
- excavating of the grave
- supplying lowering webbing and grass matting
- an allocation of 20 minutes for a service held at the graveside
- re-filling and mounding the grave and leaving tidy of the area
- topping up of the grave during settlement period and the levelling and grass seeding of the grave after full settlement
Burial within full-sized grave for a person aged 18 or over
Where two persons are interred in a single grave at the same time (excluding cremated remains) the second interment will be reduced by 25%.

Please ensure that the required forms and payment are received 2 working days before the service. An appointment is required.
Children and babies
There is no charge for babies under 24 weeks gestation, for stillborn babies and for children under 18. Our fee will be claimed from The Children’s Funeral Fund for England where applicable.
