Notice is hereby given that:
- An election is to be held of A COUNCILLOR for the LISCARD Ward.
- Forms of nomination paper may be obtained from the Electoral Services Office, 1st Floor, Birkenhead Town Hall CH41 5EU during normal office hours, or downloaded from the Electoral Commission website
- Nomination papers must be delivered to the Electoral Services Office, 1st Floor, Birkenhead Town Hall CH41 5EU during normal office hours, on any working day from Friday 31 May, but no later than 4pm on Friday, 7 June 2024
- The poll will take place on Thursday, 4 July 2024
- Applications to be included in the register of electors must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at 1st Floor, Birkenhead Town Hall, Birkenhead CH41 5EU by Tuesday, 18 June 2024. Applications can be made online, up to 11.59pm on Tuesday 18 June 2024 at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.
- New applications, amendments, or cancellations of existing absent vote arrangements must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at 1st Floor, Birkenhead Town Hall, Birkenhead CH41 5EU by 5pm on Wednesday, 19 June 2024
- Applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer 1st Floor, Birkenhead Town Hall, Birkenhead, CH41 5EU by 5pm on Wednesday, 26 June 2024
- Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday, 26 June 2024.
- Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at 1st Floor, Birkenhead Town Hall, Birkenhead, CH41 5EU by 5pm on Thursday 4 July 2024
