Heating and Renovation financial assistance
Wirral Council offers financial assistance (both grants and loans) to low income homeowners. This is for emergency repair work and can include essential heating repairs and other renovations necessary to adequately maintain your property.

Boiler Upgrade Scheme
The government is providing grants to encourage property owners to install low carbon heating systems such as heat pumps, through the Boiler Upgrade Scheme.
The scheme is open to domestic and small non-domestic properties in England and Wales. It runs until 2028.

The council’s partner, Energy Projects Plus, may also be able to support with funding towards replacing or repairing heating systems and funding for new central heating in the those homes that currently don't have central heating.
